Citrus Springs Golf and Country Club
This Charles Almony
designed golf course is blessed with a large variety of
trees including many beautiful live oaks. For 5-6 years
since 1978, over 500 trees have been added. This course
is reminiscent of North Carolina courses with plenty of
rolling terrain and very little water. The fairways are
fairly open allowing you to swing away, but an errant
shot will be caught amongst century-old oak trees that
line every fairway. Several holes feature sharp doglegs
to large elevated greens, requiring precise iron play.
